Teddy Bear  puppies are Adorable. Teddy Bear Puppies have many names.Our Teddy Bear Puppies are not Shichons or Zuchons. Our Teddy Bear Puppies are Shorkie puppies. They are not a Bichon Shih Tzu Mix. They are a Shih Tzu Yorkie Mix. They are smaller and have better temperaments than the traditional Shichon puppies. Welcome to Teddy Bear Shorkie Puppies where you will find an alternative to Shichon puppies, the traditional Teddy bear Puppies and Zuchon Puppies as you may  know them.

My name is Steffy and many of you may know me from our main website www.pricelesspups.net  I am known world wide for our Shorkie puppies.

My goal in building  this website www.teddybearshorkiepuppies.com Teddy Bear Shorkie Puppies to introduce you to our specialty which are  "Shorkie puppies" This is the breed that I started here in the USA over 23 yrs ago and founded the Shorkie Club of America in 2006 and they are world renowned for their baby doll faces and teddy bear puppy coats.

 Teddy Bear Puppies are also commonly referred to as Shichon puppies, Zuchon puppies, Ragdoll puppies. They are a Bichon Mix Shih Tzu mix combination. That has become popular with many breeders in the last few years but unfortunately many breeders are not telling potential puppy parents the Truth about the Shih Tzu Bichon Mix known as the Teddy Bear puppy or Shichon.

THEY R NOT A GOOD CHOICE for all families.

  Although you may be looking for a Shichon information and have been visiting all the Shichon breeders websites and Teddy Bear Puppy websites we wanted to share our love of the Shorkie Breed with you and why we think they are also a great choice.

Our Teddy Bear Shorkie Puppies are just that . They are little puppies that look just like Teddy Bears wrapped up in a small package. They are cuddlers,snugglers and the best bed bugs you will ever find.

We love and appreciate the friendship, loyalty, and unconditional love our  little Shorkie puppies have brought into our lives and the lives of our Priceless Pups families all over the world

 We strive to breed for you, the sweetest, highest quality Shorkie puppies that will bring you years of heartwarming memories. We are always breeding for quality, health, excellent temperaments and rich colors so we are able to bring you the best Shorkies in the World. 

So while our Teddy Bear Puppies are Shorkies and that may not be what you set out to research we are glad you found us so we have the opportunity to share with you just what we love about our Shorkies.
Please Note:
We added Shichons  or Teddy Bear Puppies  to our breeding program for a few years ago but found out a few things about the breed we wanted to share with everyone. After careful consideration we decided to remove the Shichon Teddy Bear puppies from our breeding program and continue with our field of expertise and that is the Shorkie, a Shih Tzu Yorkie mix.  We found when doing the Shichon breedings, some of the puppies can get up over 20 lbs as adults. This size really was much larger than what many puppy parents expected and larger than what we personally wanted to produce. This is due to the Shih Tzu and Bichon genetics and how big both breeds can be. When people adopt Shichon puppies they have a much higher chance of getting a much larger puppy than they want and they are much more vocal YAPPY and NEEDY  .  When adopting a Shorkie puppy there is a higher chance you are adopting the true lap sized dog of your dreams. They are a bit more hyper and busy than what suites some families and are a more Yappy breed. With all of that said it is important to do your research on any breed. 
 
How we raise our Puppies
 
At Priceless Pups  we do not breed jsut for the sake of breeding puppies to make a quick buck.
We are breeding the better the Shorkie as a breed and we do not take it lightly.
, so when we do have a litter of Shorkies, we make it our full time job.
 
We take raising our Shorkie puppies seriously - because we know beginning experiences form the foundation for their lives. We look at the "whole puppy" and focus on enriching each one of them from the earliest possible moment. We know that the best possible start in life consists of many factors including nutrition, stimulation, grooming, socialization, patience and love and my personal guarantee to each and every puppy parent is each of our puppies get that and more
 
Our puppies are home raised, not kennel raised.  For the first five weeks, Mom and the pups are in a 4 ft by 4 ft play pen in  our home, right outside our bedroom door. Mom is kept well nourished with high-quality kibble and fresh or canned meat.

From the time they are born, we touch and rub our puppies regularly and hold them close to us so they can get used to the human scent (but also because they are so cute and cuddly).

We are following some of the techniques of the Monks of New Skete in their exceptional book, "The Art of Raising a Puppy".
